What We Guarantee
Your data is never used to train AI models
We access AI inference through enterprise API connections where providers are contractually prohibited from retaining or training on customer inputs. Your financial data will never improve a model you did not build.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All data transmitted to and from the ValueChaser platform is encrypted via TLS. Data stored in our infrastructure is encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised systems only.
Processed in your region — not shared across borders
EU data is processed exclusively on EU infrastructure (eu.valuechaser.ai). US data is processed on US infrastructure (valuechaser.ai). No cross-border data movement without your knowledge.
Our benchmarks are independently sourced — your data plays no part
All benchmark and industry intelligence is researched, curated, and maintained by us — drawn from public filings, industry databases, and our own proprietary methodology. Your uploaded data has no influence on the benchmarks you or any other client receives. Your competitors will never see your data, and you will never see theirs.
Defined deletion windows — not indefinite retention
We delete your raw data on a defined schedule. We do not hold your financial statements longer than operationally required. See the retention table below for exact windows.
Your data is protected by default — for every user
Our Data Agreement and Privacy Policy apply to every submission, with no action required from you. For subscription and enterprise clients, our agreement includes additional contractual protections covering data handling, confidentiality, and processing scope. Upload to Deletion — Every Step
Your data follows a defined, auditable path from upload to deletion. Nothing persists beyond what is operationally required.
You Upload
File transmitted via TLS to secure storage in your region. Encrypted at rest immediately on receipt.
Validation & Analysis
Data sufficiency is verified before processing. Our analytical engine then extracts and structures the relevant financial or spend data. Insufficient data — no charge, no further processing.
Knowledge Base & Report Generation
Structured data is matched against our proprietary expert-built knowledge base — benchmark logic, industry intelligence, and analytical frameworks developed and maintained by our team. Report output is generated from this synthesis.
Delivery & Deletion
Report delivered to you. Raw uploaded files deleted on schedule. Outputs accessible for defined period, then permanently removed.
On AI model usage: Where AI inference is used in the analytical process, we pass only the specific structured data fields relevant to that step of the request — not your full document, not your company identity, not any metadata that could identify you as the submitter. AI providers receive the minimum information required to perform the task, and nothing more.

Your Data Stays in Your Region
ValueChaser operates two independent regional tenants. Your data is processed on infrastructure in your region and does not cross regional boundaries.
EU Tenant — eu.valuechaser.ai
All data uploaded via the EU tenant is stored and processed on EU-based cloud infrastructure. Relevant for GDPR compliance and EU regulatory requirements.
US Tenant — valuechaser.ai
All data uploaded via the US tenant is stored and processed on US-based infrastructure. No transfer of US data to EU systems.
Who Touches Your Data and Why
We use a small, vetted set of enterprise-grade infrastructure providers. No data is shared beyond what is operationally required for report generation.
Supabase
Database and secure file storage. Stores submission metadata and report outputs.
Uploadcare
Handles file upload and temporary storage. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Stripe
Payment processing only. ValueChaser never receives or stores card details.
Google Cloud & AWS
Cloud compute and infrastructure hosting. Regional deployment in EU and US.
AI Model Providers
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity — inference only, receiving only the minimum structured data fields required for each step. Contractually prohibited from retaining or training on inputs.
Cookiebot
Cookie consent management. No access to uploaded data or financial content.
GDPR and Data Subject Rights
EU residents have specific rights under GDPR. We honour these fully. You do not need a lawyer to exercise them — just email us.
Right to access
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Right to correction
Request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold.
Right to deletion
Request deletion of your personal data and any uploaded files before the automated deletion window.
Right to object
Object to certain processing activities. EU residents may also raise concerns with their local data protection authority.
